Payment

How payment works
Payment is taken at checkout by a regulated third-party payment provider. The payment options available for your country and currency are shown on the checkout page before you place your order.
Card details are entered on the payment provider's secure form. ECG HOME never sees or stores your full card number or security code. The whole site, including checkout, is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.
If online payment is not available when you check out, the checkout page will say so and no charge will be made. You can email support@ecghomeimprove.shop with the items you want and your delivery address, and we will reply with a quote and how to pay.
Which currency you are charged in
You can shop in US dollars (USD), euros (EUR), pounds sterling (GBP) or Canadian dollars (CAD), using the currency menu at the top of every page. The amount shown on the checkout page, in the currency shown there, is the amount you are charged.
Our prices are set in US dollars. Prices in the other currencies are set by us at fixed rates, currently 1 USD = 0.92 EUR · 1 USD = 0.79 GBP · 1 USD = 1.36 CAD, and rounded to end in .95 or .99. They are not live exchange rates and can differ slightly from the rate your bank would use. If you pay in a currency different from your card's own, your card issuer may add a foreign transaction fee; we do not control or receive that fee.
When you are charged
You are charged when you place your order. If we cannot fulfil any part of it, we refund that part within 14 days, to the same payment method.
On your statement
The charge appears on your bank or card statement under a name that includes “ECG HOME”. If you do not recognise a charge, email us before contacting your bank and we will help.
Security checks
Your bank or the payment provider may ask you to confirm the payment, for example in your banking app. This is a standard security step. We never ask for card details by email or phone.
