Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to browse and buy from ECG HOME. This site is designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We have not had it independently audited, so this is a statement of what we have done, not a certification.

What we have done

• Text and interface colours are chosen for strong contrast against their backgrounds.
• Every page can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to content” link.
• Product and page images have text alternatives; purely decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
• Menus and pickers use standard HTML elements that assistive technology understands.
• Videos on the home page are silent, decorative and do not play if your device is set to reduce motion. Their content is also described in text.
• Motion and animation are switched off when your device asks for reduced motion.
• Text can be zoomed to 200% without loss of content.

Known limitations

• The interactive photograph at the top of the home page is also available as a plain list of links beside it.
• Some parts of the checkout come from our shop software and are styled by us but not built by us; if anything there does not work for you, please tell us.
